DUSTY (RUTH ELLEN) DEAGUERO, 73, a longtime resident of Española, passed away of a brief courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Jeannette Howell and other loving relatives. Dusty held various jobs throughout her life, her favorites were Disc Jockey at KBSO, legal secretary, Health Field and most recently second grade foster grandparent at Sombrillo Elem. School. Dusty is survived by her husband, Archie DeAguero Jr. of Española; children, Danita Diaz and husband Jesus of Moriarty, Roy Decker of New Orleans, Jason Coneby and wife Kaori of Japan and Shannon Silva and husband Nicholas of Coeur d’ Alene Idaho; 3 grandchildren, Shaden and Caren Silva and Bran Coneby, 4 step-great-grandchildren whom she loved; brothers and sisters, Carl Howell and wife Cathy of Kentucky, Lorna Grafton of Kentucky; father-in-law, Arsenio DeAguero Sr. and wife JoAnn of Chimayo, mother-in-law, Mary F. Estrada of Santa Cruz; and many loving relatives and friends. Services are pending at this time and will be posted as soon as they become finalized.
