Dr. Bryanna Gabrielle Hannah Bustos DPT, A resident of Chimayo, recently working in Colorado Springs, Colorado, 26 years of age was called home by our heavenly father on Wednesday, October 28, 2015.
Bryanna’s life was lived in the moment and to the fullest. During her time she knew what she wanted and set her mind to fulfill her dreams. She loved all who came near her with no exceptions. She was an exemplary phenomenal student/athlete from a very young age that carried through to her collegiate years. The closeness of her family weighed heavy on her mind when she applied for and received various acceptance letters when she sought to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy and chose Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She studied and prepared for her DPT Licensure exam and passed with flying colors. She was most recently serving her patients at Consentra Out-Patient Clinic, where she was commonly referred to as “Little Breezy.”
Bryanna was preceded in death by her Great Grandparents Manual Quintana Sr. and MaryAnn, Abesline Lujan and Augustina, Julian Trujillo and Rosa, and Grandma Natividad and Elias Manuel Bustos Sr. and Barbarita Maestas.
Bryanna is survived by her parents Leah and Walter Bustos, brother Ryan (Girlfriend Briana Radosevich), Big Sister Myriah Annankra-Spence, Special friend “Nanu”, Grandparents Eileen and Leo Lujan of Cuarteles, Dora and Elias Bustos of Chimayo. Denise Herrera (madrina) and husband Ron, Geraldine Martinez and husband Seledon, Nadine Mondragon and husband Christopher, Carmelito Bustos, Harold Bustos and wife Nora, Rodney Bustos (padrino) and wife Cynthia. Many cousins, relatives and extended family.
Serving as pall bearers will be Ryan Bustos, Randy Martinez, Justin Chavez, Jacob Serrano, Emilio Borrego and Joseph “JoJo” Hurd. Honorary pall bearer; Uncle Eric Bustos.
A rosary will be recited on Tuesday November 3, 2015 at the Holy Family Church in Chimayo, NM at 7:45 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday November 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Church in Chimayo with burial services to follow immediately after at the El Potrero Cemetery, where Bryanna considered the surrounding area of (El Santuario) as a gateway to her home in Chimayo. The family of Dr. Bryanna Gabrielle Hannah Bustos DPT.
