Dorothy M. - Age 73 - Ohkay Owingeh - Cruz

Dorothy M. Cruz, 73, a resident of Ohkay Owingeh passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leandro and Tonita Cruz; brother, Floyd Cruz. Dorothy is survived by her sisters: Povi Threlkeld, Rose Lee Siow and husband Gene; brother, Joe Cruz and wife Helen T.; many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Public visitation will held on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Cematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh with burial to follow at Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Jim James, Floyd James, Patrick Cruz, Brian Siow, Brandon Siow and Clifford Cruz; honorary pallbearer: Vincent and Martin Cruz. The family of Dorothy Cruz have entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
