Doris Marlene Sisneros 

Our beloved mother and grandmother Doris Sisneros passed away on August 17, 2024, after a short illness. She was 68 years old.

Doris was the heart of our family, she raised four children, Tanya Lujan, Michael Lujan, Derek Martinez, Liahni Martinez, and three grandchildren, Isaiah Lujan, Roslani Lujan and Serenity Lujan.

In a happy and loving home Doris loved her family and truly enjoyed being surrounded by them. She enjoyed feeding them and listening to the events of the day. She also called throughout the day to check in offering advice, laughter and sometimes tears. 

Doris had a kind heart and no one in her family was ever turned away. Her door was always open so her family could call her home their home. 

We will carry her in our hearts forever. She will be dearly missed.

Doris loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. She loved her animals and was always willing to give a stray a home. She was a 2nd degree black belt in the art of Tang Soo Do.

Doris was preceded in death by, her father Arsenio and mother Josie, her son Davy Sisneros, her sister-in-law Lourdes and daughter in law Nicole Martinez.

She is survived by her children Tanja, Michael, Derek (Lyn) and Liahni (Nick). Grandchildren Jaydn, Isaiah, Roslani, Serenity, MaryLynn, Kimberly, Davy Paul and Alyssa, her siblings Issac, Roy (Marsha) who was very dear to her heart, Allan (Nancy), Betty, Johnny (Gerry) and Joyce, and many nephews, and nieces. Many friends including Judy Salazar, and Eric Martinez, father of Derek and Liahni. The family requests a private ceremony.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday August 29, 2024 at 12:00PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Espanola.  A private burial will take place.
