Dora Vigil

Dora T. Vigil, 86, a resident of Rio Chiquito, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side.  Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson E. Vigil; parents, Felipe and Felomena Trujillo and Salomon and Feliciana Trujillo; siblings, Stella Lucero, Bennie Trujillo and Juan C. Trujillo. Mrs. Vigil is survived by her children, Nelson Kevin Vigil (Darla), Rudy Vigil, Karen Martinez (Marcos), Velma Dominguez, Becky Cantu (Eddie), Lisa Lopez (Gabriel); siblings, Sophie Hurtado and Julian Trujillo (Helen); 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and many others who consider themselves family. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Light House Church in Chimayo, with a Devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to meet and the Funeral Home at 7:30 a.m. to follow to the Santa Fe National Cemetery where the Funeral Service will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Joshua and Timothy Vigil, Carlos Vigil, Eleazar, Daniel and Zachary Martinez, Rey Dominguez and Nephtali Cantu. The family of Dora T.
