DONALD LEE ESQUIBEL, 32 a resident of Alcalde, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015. Donald Lee was born on December 29, 1982 to Donald Esquibel who preceded him in death, and Thelma Esquibel. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Eloy Esquibel and Theodoro Olguin; uncles, Derrick & Eli Esquibel, and Toby and Ted Olguin; and mother-in-law, Barbara Martinez. Donald Lee will be missed dearly by all his family and friends. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all his heart. He was a true worshiper and knew how to worship in spirit and in truth. We love you to the moon and back, you will forever remain in our hearts. Donald is survived by his wife, Claire and daughter Annika; mother, Thelma Esquibel; grandmothers, Vicentita Esquibel and Viola Olguin; sisters, Julie Chacon and husband Louie, and Megan Martinez; father-in-law, Fabian Garcia; sister-in-law, Christina Garcia and companion Ricardo; brother-in-law, Fabian Garcia; nephews, Louie and Nathan Chacon, Julian Herrera, Peter Velarde, Isaac Garcia, Xavion Garcia; nieces, Leah Chacon and Alicia Herrera; paternal aunt, Jeanette Martinez and Benjie, Sandra Roybal; maternal aunts, Mable Trujillo, Bernice Garcia (Ernie), Diane Brown (Joe), Hilda Cook (Todd), Emily Olguin and companion Steve; maternal uncles, Felix Olguin (Emily), Jimmy Olguin (Ruth), Roger Olguin (Liz), and Donald Olguin; special cousins, Derricka Roybal (Estevan), Mallery Martinez (Ruben), Nazarae and Jacob Sullivan, Miraya and Elena Archuleta, and Mateo Manzanares; honorary brothers, Victor Borrego, Mr. Patterson, Robert, James and all the brothers at Victory Life Fellowship in Artesia and numerous other relatives and friends. Wake service will begin on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Victory Faith Church in Española. Memorial service will be held on July 17, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. also at Victory Faith Church in Española.
