Donald M. Sanchez, 55, a resident of Dixon passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013. Donald was preceded in death by his brother; Harold Sanchez, paternal grandparents; Ignacio and Rufina Sanchez, cousin, Everette Sanchez. Donald’s passion was fishing and his favorite past time was wandering the rivers of the valley looking for his next catch. He was a humble, loving honest and caring man who loved to joke with his family. He loved his family with all his heart whom will miss him greatly. Donald is survived by his children; Ignacio D. Sanchez and companion Clarissa Ramirez, Christina L. Sanchez and fiancé Mario Archuleta, Alexandria M., Mauricio A.A., and Myranda R. Sanchez. His companion Melissa Valdez, and her children Gabriella and companion Jeremy Gracia, Tiffany, Christian, Kenny Jr., and Kory, mothers of his children Lorraine Espinoza and Casandra Vigil, father; Mauricio Sanchez and spouse Caroline Martinez, mother, Maria Inez Martinez, sisters, Sharon M. Sanchez, Shirley Sanchez and companion Augustine, Demi Martinez, Perla Sanchez and companion Jeremy, brother, Tito Sanchez, step-brothers, Frankie, and Anthony Martinez and spouse Melisha, step-sister, Sandy Coriz and spouse Matthew, grandkids, Andrea Sanchez, Ashley Delvo, Adrianna Lara-Sanchez, Shawn R. Barela-Sanchez, Angelique Delvo, Mariah, and Mario Archuleta Jr., Jazmyne Gracia, plus many loving nieces nephews, aunts uncles, and relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a funeral service at to follow 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the M. Sanchez Family cemetery in Dixon. The family of Donald M. Sanchez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
