Dixie Akes Cozart, passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff, her parents; Leonard & Helen Akes and brother Lindy Akes. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy & Michelle Cozart; grandchildren, Jazmeen, Isabella, Jeffrey, & Jessica; her brother, Vern Akes & his wife Chrissy, her sisters, LeeAnn Rewey & Aline Akes. Dixie touched so many lives that to name them all is impossible. Cremation has taken place and services will be announced at a later date. The family of Dixie Akes Cozart has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley
