Dion - Age 51 - Alcalde - Villareal

DION AMARANTE VILLAREAL, 51, a resident of Alcalde, passed away on Sunday, June 29, following a sudden illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patricio and Gavina Villareal; paternal grandparents, Amarante and Teresina Villareal; maternal grandparents, Eugenio and Lauriana Martinez; infant sister, Patricia; brother, Charles Labadie and numerous aunts and uncles. Dion enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. Mr. Villareal is survived by his companion of 13 years, Lydia Rivera; brothers, Doyle (Antonette) and Patrick (Deeancee), Keisha and James; nieces, Ashley Miera and spouse Pancho and Candice Villareal, Janelle and Charlotte Labadie; aunts and uncles, Marie Aken, Sylvia Lance, Johnny and Jerry Villareal, Joe Martinez, Dora Lucero and Olivia Gallegos and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at Victory Faith Church in Española with a devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. also at Victory Faith Church in Española. Burial to follow at the Loma Vista Cemetery with the following serving the family as pallbearers, Eugene and Danny Martinez, Johnny and Hector Villareal, Dale Garcia and Pancho Miera. Honorary pallbearers named are, Brenda Alire, Monty Jaramillo, Danny Sanchez, Benny Atencio, Mark Archibeque and Mark Archibeque, Jr. The family of Dion Amarante Villareal has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n
