Diane Garcia

Diane Marie Garcia, 55, a resident of El Guique, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017. Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Angie DeHerrera; siblings, Charles DeHerrera Jr. and Denice Rivera. Diane enjoyed cooking, traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family. She was a loving and caring person and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Diane worked at Wal-Mart for 20 years, where she met and became friends with many people who grew to love her dearly. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to all her friends and coworkers for the friendship over the years.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. Her son was her pride and joy. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, David Garcia; son, D. David Garcia; father, Charles DeHerrera; sisters, Debra Aleman (Ivan) and Dawn Cordova (Essam) and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who she loved dearly. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the San Juan Bautista Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh with a burial to follow at the El Guique Cemetery.
