Diane - Age 48 - Canjilon Leyba

DIANE LEYBA, 48, a resident of Canjilon, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2010. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Tobias Leyba; beloved brothers, Hipolito I, Hipolito II, Richard and Guadalupe Leyba; grandparents, Narciso and Antonia Martinez and Manuel and Philadelphia Leyba. Diane was born in Parkview. She graduated from Escalante High School in 1980 and attended New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas. She employed at the Las Vegas U.S. Post Office. Ms. Leyba is survived by her mother, Mary Leyba of Canjilon; brothers and sisters, Andy Leyba and wife Helen of Colorado, Ruth Serrano and husband Tranquilino of Española, Rebecca Martinez and husband Lorenzo, Elfa Martinez and husband Adan and Theresa Beavers all of Canjilon, Priscilla Leyba and Lillian of Española, Rudy, Toby and Belinda Leyba, Alex Canjilon, Tino Leyba of Santa Fe and numerous other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in Canjilon. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. also at the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in Canjilon. The Leyba family has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
