Dennis “DJ” Joseph Serrano

Dennis, known to most as “DJ” departed this earth unexpectedly on Monday, October 14, 2024. DJ was born March 10, 1990, in Espanola, New Mexico, to Nadine Martinez and Dennis Serrano Sr. 

DJ was preceded in death by Rose Martinez (Grandmother), both paternal grandparents Jesse Martinez (Uncle), and Dennis Serrano Sr. (Father). 

He is survived by Nadine Martinez (Mother), Crystal Martinez (Sister), Jeremy Martinez (Brother), Arcenio Martinez (Nephew), Leroy Salazar (Grandpa), Brenda Vigil (Aunt), Linda Serrano (Aunt) and Melanie Vigil (Cousin), as well as several extended family and friends.

DJ’s unparalleled character was defined by his unwavering love and devotion to his family and friends. He exemplified selflessness, affection, and love for everyone he met. DJ has never met anyone he did not befriend. 

A Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 10:00 am at El Buen Pastor Church in Espanola, NM.  Reception to follow at the CYC Building at El Buen Pastor Church. A Private Burial will take place at a later date.
