Denise Rodriguez

Denise Rodriguez, 65, a resident of Española, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016 following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Vigil and brother, William Vigil. Denise loved to knit, read and crochet. Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her husband, Jake Rodriguez; mother, Ruth; granddaughters of the home, Sofia and Lorena; children, Javier (Emma), Rosina (Josh) and Consuelo; step-daughter, Anna (David); great-grandmother, Rosina; grandchildren, Alicia, Roberto, Josh, Abryanna, Javon, Leandra, Layla, Ashley, Esperanza, Sofia, Lorena, Bryanna, Brooke, Brandon; brothers, Anthony and Dwight; sister, Dorothy (Benton), and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and family members. Special thanks to the caregiving nurses Regina, Janet that were with the family to the end. A rosary will be recited on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez.
