Denise Montoya

DENISE M. MONTOYA, 37, a resident of Nambe, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 following a sudden illness. She was preceded in death by her half-sister, Tina Marie Garcia; maternal grandparents, Mariano and Inez Garcia; paternal grandparents, Ramon L. and Frances M. Montoya and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Ms. Montoya is survived by her son, Nathan Tapia; parents, Michael and Christella Montoya; brother, Michael Anthony Montoya; nieces and nephew, Destiny Montoya, Andrew Herrera and Shantel Maestas all of Nambe and many cousins and other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nambe, with a rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated immediately after at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Nambe. The family of Denise M. Montoya has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
