Demo (Demetrio) Age - 42 - Rio Lucio Martinez

DEMO (DEMETRIO) MARTINEZ, 42, a resident of Rio Lucio and formerly of Abiquiu, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Eve Martinez; grandparents, Gabriel and Corina Gallegos and mother-in-law, Bonnie Rodriguez. He loved driving semis; and farming, tractors were his life. He enjoyed helping people and donated wood and would always help anyone in need. He was very loving and loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Martinez of Rio Lucio; sister, Karen Duran-Suazo and husband Joseph of Abiquiu; brother, Andrew Duran and wife Kim of Española; father-in-law, Joe Rodriguez and companion Irene Lovato of Rio Lucio; sister-in-law, Carmela Rodriguez and husband Anthony of Rio Lucio; brother-in-law, Roland Rodriguez and fiancé Kandi Martinez of Rio Lucio; special aunt like a sister, Perla Davis and husband Charlie of Abiquiu; special uncle, Marcos Martinez and wife Karen of Rio Chiquito; aunt, Pablita Lujan of Española; uncles: Eloy Gallegos and wife Juanita of Abiquiu, Lupe Gallegos and wife Delfinia of Abiquiu; nieces/nephews: Tayler, Megan and Nathaniel Suazo, Alyssa, Justin and Damian Duran, Gerald and DJ Rodriguez; great-nieces: Zareyah Rodriguez and Mariah; great-nephews: Elijah Martinez and Mason; father, Rudy Martinez of Santa Fe; special aunt, Vivian Vigil of Nambe; step-father, Juan Duran of Abiquiu; very best friend, Ida Duran of Abiquiu; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Rosary will be recited on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Peñasco. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Peñasco.
