Delores - age 71 - Hernandez Salazar

Delores Salazar, 72, a lifelong resident of Hernandez, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucas & Elvira Trujillo; sons, Paul & Lucas Salazar and brother, Pedro Trujillo. She will be terribly missed by all who loved and knew her. We'll miss her smile and infectious laughter and endless sense of humor. Delores is survived by longtime friend Moncerrat Grajeda-Avitia; estranged husband, Paul Salazar; children, Loren & wife Connie Salazar, Sandra & husband Gerald Naranjo; grandchildren, Erica Salazar, Angelic Trujillo & Danielle Naranjo, Joseph, Arren, & Adrien Salazar, Gabriella & Jerrid Salazar & Jessica Medina, great grandchildren, Azaziah, Devin, Paul, Antonia & Arriana; as well as numerous other loving relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez with a memorial mass to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at the San Jose Catholic Cemetery in Hernandez. The family of Delores Salazar has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
