Delmer Age - 68 - Chama Chacon

Delmer Chacon, 68, a resident of Chama, NM passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 2, 2012. He worked as a cook and dishwasher for the Dulce Elementary Public Schools, also worked at the TBone Ranch in Antonito, CO. He was a hard worker who enjoyed being outdoors. Delmar was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Demetrio and Rufinita Chacon; brother, Ernest Chacon; sister, Elizabeth Janie Chacon-Jiron. Delmar is survived by his wife of 30 years, Margaret Manzanares de Chacon of Chama; brothers: Ermand Chacon and wife Vi of Pueblo, CO; Arnold Chacon of Colorado Springs, CO; Matthew Chacon and fiancé Kathy of Manassa, CO; sisters: Barbara Chacon of Santa Fe, NM; Karen Chacon of Denver, CO; JoAnn Chacon of Santa Fe, NM; uncle, Charlie Mondragon and wife Carla of Saguache, CO; aunts: Viola Mondragon of Denver, CO; Mary Chacon of Denver, CO; Lena Marquez of Saguache, CO; plus many other nephews, nieces, cousin & friends. Funeral will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Saguache, CO with burial to follow at Hill Side Community Cemetery in Saguache, CO.
