DELFINO LUJAN, 68, a resident of Jaconita, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 following a lengthy illness. He was born June 10, 1943 to Ruben and Josefina Lujan who precede him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Amelia Bustos; parents-in-law, Paul and Julia Roybal and numerous beloved relatives. Delfino was a kind, loving and funny man. He loved his family and friends dearly. He will be greatly missed, especially his beautiful smile. Mr. Lujan is survived by his wife of 50 years, Tina Lujan; children, Pauline Gonzales and husband Don, Victor Lujan and wife Jeneen, Ruben Lujan and wife Ti and Andy Lujan and wife Cindy; sister, Cecilia Lujan and husband Jimmy; brothers, George Lujan and wife Velma, Gene Lujan and wife Shirley, Michael Lujan and wife Lorraine and Alfred Lujan and wife Ruth; brothers-in-law, Horace Bustos, Vences Roybal and Lolo Roybal and wife Amelia; sisters-in-law, Panchita Rios and husband Robert and Mary Duran and husband Mike; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque. Burial to follow at the Pojoaque Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Victor, Ruben and Andy Lujan, Don Gonzales and Jeremy and Matthew Lujan. Honorary pallbearers named are his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and special friend, Steven Herrera. The family of Delfino Lujan has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
