DeeAnna Martinez

DEEANNA MARTINEZ, 72, a resident of Santa Fe formerly of Espanola passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Newton, father, Rocky Newton; stepmother, Eulalia Newton; ex-husband Andres W. Martinez Sr.; grandparents, Edmond and Agnes Cambell, brother, Jess Tomey; children, Andy Martinez Jr., Charley Martinez; in-laws, J.D. Sr. and Rosalia Martinez and sister-in-law, Sophie; brother-in-law, Patricio. She is survived by her children, Lilliana Martinez (Steve Montoya Jr.), Robert Martinez; grandchildren, Steve Montoya III, Andrea Montoya, Edward Montoya, John Thomas Martinez, Channelle Martinez, Brittany Martinez Robbie Carpenter; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn Wright, Mona Newton; caregivers, Antonio, Debra, Kiki; in-laws, Lorraine, J.D. Jr. (Rita) and many other nieces, nephews, Godchildren and other loved ones. Special thanks to the staff at Amber Care Hospice and Christus St. Vincent Hospital for their incredible help in her last days and special thanks to Dr. Zang and Dr. Quay of the Santa Fe Indian Hospital. A rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday September 9th 2020, at sacred heart catholic church in Espanola with a memorial mass to follow at 1:00 p.m. Serving the family as honorary pallbearer will be Robbie Carpenter.
