Debbie Lopez

Debbie Diane Lopez, 60, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, August 18, 2019. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Abedon Lopez Jr.; brothers, Ralph and Robert Lopez; paternal grandfather Abedon Lopez Sr., paternal grandmother Manuelita Quintana, maternal grandfather Juan S. Martinez, maternal grandmother Genoveva Martinez; uncles, Phil Martinez, Tony and Michael Lopez, aunts, Marie Pita Montoya; father and mother in-law Joe I. and Ramoncita Salazar.

She was a very loving daughter, mother and grandmother. One of her favorite pass times was listening to music by Carlos Santana, Los Lonely Boys and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Debbie loved her Coca Cola, and would not go anywhere with out it. Anyone who knew her knew how much she loved her family, especially her mother, and grandkids. She was very independent, strong willed and an amazing mother.

Debbie is survived by her mother Lupe Martinez; daughter, Danielle and husband Steven Ortiz; grandchildren, Steven III (Estevan), Joseph (JoJo), Sophia, and Mia Ortiz, brother, Donald Lopez, sister Charlene (Michael) Arias; stepmother, Lorraine Lopez, nephews, Juan Lopez and Andres Lopez; niece, Francine Lopez, niece and God-Daughter Shannon Lopez; Father of her daughter and friend Danny Salazar.

A rosary will be recited at 10:00 am on August 23, 2019 at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada, with a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11:00 am. Burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers are Roy and Marvin Maestas, Eric Sandoval, Richard Jimenez, Andres Lopez and Larry Quintana. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
