David Fernando Chavez, 59, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, currently resided in Medanales passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. David was a loving man who was outgoing, friendly and adventurous. He was an active man who enjoyed being outdoors, loved telling stories but most of all loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernando and Angie Chavez; sister, Evelyn “Nona” Chavez; brother-in-law, Sam Burge. David is survived by his sons: Fernando and David Chavez; daughter, Christina Chavez; mother of his children: Cathy; grandchildren; brothers: Jessie and Tim Chavez; sisters: Barbara Cordova and companion Wilfred Morales, Dorothy Burge and Emma Miramontes and husband Refeal; numerous nephews, nieces & other loving relatives and friends.
