David Vigil

DAVID G. VIGIL, 55, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan D. and Mary E. Vigil. David was employed at Bob’s Fish and Chips during his early years while developing great friendships. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved many things such as singing, dancing, cooking and most of all spending time with his family. Mr. Vigil is survived by his wife, Manuela Vigil; children, Victoria and Manuel Vigil and Enrique Hernandez and companion Yesenia; siblings, Orlando Vigil and wife Sara, Louie Vigil and wife Elsie, Steve Vigil and wife Cora, Phillip Vigil and wife Christine, Shirley Quintana, Bernadine Dominguez and Yvette DeVargas and husband Hilario; uncle, Carlos Vigil and wife Roselina; aunts, Eloisa Hanson and Gregoria Vigil and many other nieces, nephews and other relative and friends. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, with a burial to follow at the Nestera Señora de Dolores Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers, Manuel Vigil, Enrique Hernandez, Yvette and Larry DeVargas, Israel Luna, Elijah Vigil, Steven Vigil and Alex Monia. Honorary pallbearers, will be his granddaughters, Giuliana, Nayelli, and Valerie Vigil. The family of David G.
