David Toelardo (Crokett)

DAVID PAUL TOELARDO (CROKETT), a resident of El Guique born June 30, 1951 passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018. David was preceded in death by is grandparents who raised him, Manuel and Matilda Borrego; Padrino, Henry Borrego; aunt, Viola Resner; former wife, Frances Y. Vigil. David is survived by his mother, Marie Romero; his only daughter, Christina and Manuel Martinez; grandchildren, Christiana and Manuel David Martinez; sister, Angela Romero and Gary; aunt who was like a second mother, Dora Houle, aunts, Leticia Mascarenas of Chamita, Barbara Duran of Pueblo Colorado, uncle, James Borrego and Katie of El Guique; very special friend and care taker, Moriah C. Vialpando; and cousin who was like a brother, Joaquin Borrego of El Paso. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. A private burial will be held at a later date at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Christiana and Manuel Martinez. The family of David Paul Toelardo (Crokett) has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
