DAVID C. CHAVEZ, 61, a lifetime resident of Chimayo, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. He is preceded in death by his son, Leo Chavez; parents, Nestor and Emelinda Chavez; sister, Patsy Martinez, brothers, Nestor Jr., Leo and Frankie Chavez. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sally Chavez; daughter, LouAnn Chavez (Patricia), son, Adrian Chavez; grandkids, Adrian Jr., Jerome, Joshua, Angel Chavez and Derrick Lujan, great-granddaughter, Ilyannah Lujan; mother-in-law, Frances Fresquez; sisters-in-law, Clara Talavera (Carlos), Nadine Aragon (Sarafin), Lorenza Martinez (Frankie), Jeanette Gray (Michael); brothers-in-law, Joseph Fresquez, Tony Trujillo and Harold Vigil; sisters, Martha Aragon, Rosalie Martinez (Melecio) and Annabelle Corriz (Frank), and many nephews  and  nieces. The family wishes a loving thanks to Angelica Pacheco for being there in his time of need. A rosary will be recited on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory.
