David Hilani “Boo” Aveado, age 54, of the Santa Clara Pueblo formerly of Maui, Hawaii, passed away on July 31st, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father Balbino Aveado Jr., Mother Evelyn Chockee Chun Aveado, sister Elizabeth (Betty) Cargo; Patricia (Malie) Tapanq, brother Balbino (Kimo) Aveado the third, and sisters Ke’ala Kukoni, and Barbra (Hokalani) Aveado.
David worked with Akan Security for a year before becoming a detention officer with the city of Espanola for 12 years. When David lived in his homeland of Maui, Hawaii. He enjoyed free diving at night at Maalaea Harbor. David loved fishing and listening to Hawaiian music and the oldies. Most of all he enjoyed BBQing with family and friends.
David is survived by his wife Karen Aveado of the Santa Clara Pueblo, sons, Kawika Pimental of Maui, Hawaii; Kealil Pimental of Maui, Hawaii, sister Pualuani Pacheco-Luna of Maui Hawaii, brothers Edwin Aveado of Maui, Hawaii; and Herbert (Herbie) Aveado of Maui, Hawaii.
