Danny "Guero" Paul - age 28 - Chima Martinez

Danny “Guero” Paul Martinez, 28, a resident of Chimayo and currently of Guachupangue, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 6, 2014. Guero was preceded in death by his grandmother, Flora Matinez; aunt, Debbi Padilla, uncle, Louie Padilla; niece, Jacyanna Gallegos. Guero is survived by his parents, Brenda Gallegos and husband Eli, and Danny Martinez; children, Acelynn and Kingston; mother of his children, Jessica Ortiz; sisters, Alicia Martinez and Carlos, Rochelle Romero and husband Rick, and Miranda Martinez; grandparents, Polito and Mabel Padilla, Leo Martinez, Godmother, Danette Martinez and husband Tim; uncle, PJ Padilla; niece, Destinee and husband Josh, nephews, Damian Martinez, and Kaidan Romero, great niece, Honoree; cousins, Myriah Padilla and James Martinez. Guero will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, with a burial to follow at Nuestra Señora de Dolores Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be PJ Padilla, Damian Martinez, Joshua Griego, Carlos Trujillo, Adrian Vigil, Tony Jacquez, Mario Martinez, Gabriel Gallegos, and Joel Baca. The family of Danny “Guero” Paul Martinez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n
