Danny David Serna - born March 18, 1947 passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2011. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carlota Serna; sister, Jeanette Faucette; brother, Arthur Serna; and step-son, Keith; brother-in-law, Sam Alderete. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; father, Adelaido Serna; father-in-law, Jose Casados; sisters: Sally Alderete, Annabelle Serna and LaVern Trujillo and husband George; brothers: Lalo Serna and wife Lorraine, Nick Serna and wife Dolores; children: Lisa Chavez and husband Jim, Carlos Serna, David White and wife Yvonne, Dana Marie White; step-children: Emilia and husband Dominic Maestas, Greta and husband Jerry Vigil, Denise and husband Joseph Martinez and Abelina and husband Antonio Griego; and numerous grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo. Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
