Danny - Age 41 - El Duende - Atencio

DANNY E. ATENCIO, 41, a resident of El Duende, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 9, 2012. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Tomas Borrego; paternal grandparents, Antonio and Tomasita Atencio and numerous beloved relatives. Mr. Atencio is survived by his children, Samantha and Andres Atencio both of El Duende; parents, Antonio and Lourdes Atencio; brothers and sisters, Anthony Atencio and companion Yvette Romero, Eva Martinez and husband Johnny all of El Duende, Larry Atencio and wife Cathy of Alcalde, Emilio Atencio and wife Shirley of San Pedro, Matthew Atencio and Pam Atencio both of El Duende; maternal grandmother, Pablita Borrego El Guique; mother of his children, Melinda Montoya of Hernandez; nieces and nephews, Crystal, Larry Jr., Nicole, Stephanie, Alyson, Anissa, Donovan, Devin, Isaiah, Landon and Dominic and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez. Burial to follow at the San Jose Catholic Cemetery in Hernandez. The family of Danny E. Atencio has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory.
