Daniel "Danny" Age - 51 - Pojoaque Rios

DANIEL “DANNY” RIOS, 51, a resident of Pojoaque, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pablo and Julia Roybal and Jesus and Ramona Rios. He was greatly loved by the family and the community for his kind heart. He would give the shirt off his back and would help anyone out. Mr. Rios is survived by his wife, Eileen Rios; children, Elena and Daniel Rios; grandchildren, Lorenzo Rios and Angelique and Mariah Wilson all of Pojoaque; parents, Robert and Frances Rios of Jaconita; brothers, Eddie Rios and wife Lucy and family of El Rancho, Victor Rios and wife Beverly and family of San Pedro and Jesse Rios and wife Cherie and family of El Rancho and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday Oct. 31st at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday Nov. 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque with interment to follow at the Pojoaque Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Eddie, Victor, Jesse, Robert, Daniel and Josh Rios. Serving as honorary pallbearers: Lorenzo Rios and Ian Earl. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory to help with funeral expenses.
