Daisy "Dawn" Vigil

DAISY “DAWN” VIGIL, 30, a resident of Chimayo, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 following an automobile accident. She was preceded in death by her father, Levi Vigil; paternal grandparents, Pablo and Rosario Vigil; maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Violet Trujillo. Ms. Vigil is survived by her children, Juliette and Romeo Martinez; mother, Paula Trujillo and companion Tony Fernandez; sisters, Angel Trujillo and partner David Hands and MelissaRose Lopez; aunt, Dolores “Lola” Vigil who raised her like a daughter; aunts and uncles, Mary Ann “Mena” DeAguero, Nancy Lovato, Irene “Moome” Vigil, Dorothy “Quennie” Martinez, Damain and Napoleon Vigil, Mark Trujillo and Roy Trujillo and wife Lora; nephews and nieces, Ethan Hands, Ricky Lopez III, Ilikea Lopez and Makayla Sanchez and numerous other loving cousins, relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at El Buen Pastor Presbyterian Church in Chimayo. Burial to follow at the Jardin de las Flores Cemetery in Chimayo with the following serving as pallbearers, Nico Garduño, Josh Martinez, Gabriel Martinez, Noah Martinez, Tony Fernandez, David Hands and Leon DeAguero. The family of Daisy “Dawn” Vigil has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
