Crystal - Age 29 - El Guache - Maestas

CRYSTAL MAESTAS, 29, a resident of El Guache, was born September 4, 1983 and passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ramon O. Martinez and close uncle, Mike G. Martinez. Crystal was a very happy, loving and energetic young woman. She loved movies, boating, music, animals and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Maestas is survived by her husband, Leo Maestas; mother, Juliette Martinez; grandmother, Maria L. Martinez; sisters, Debbie Jaramillo and husband Melvin, Carmen Gonzales and husband Chris; cousins, Deena Martinez and companion Matt and Andrew Martinez and wife Maria; mother and father-in-law, Larry and Sandra Maestas; brother-in-law, Sammy Maestas and wife Naomi; sister-in-law, LuAnn Maestas; nieces and nephews, Andres, Serenity, Isaiah, GiAnna, Christopher, James, Julius, Cassandra, Alexandra, Jude and Liam; God-parents, Andy and Carmen Martinez and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial to follow at the Nuestra Señora de Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Chimayo with the following serving as pallbearers, Sammy and Andres Maestas, Andrew Martinez, Matt Trujillo, Levi Gallegos and Christopher Marquez. The family of Crystal Maestas has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
