Corine Maestas - Courtesy Announcement

Corine J. Maestas a resident of Chamita was born on September 9, 1933 and was called to be with our Lord on April 4th 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Corine was preceded in death by her husband Joe E. Maestas, daughter Eloise Maestas Chavez, and brother Moises Lujan, father Moises and mother Magdelena Lujan of Santo Nino, New Mexico. Corine is survived by her children Janice Maestas(Larry) from Santa Fe NM, Theresa Valdez ( Joe) from Santa Fe NM , Adelia Maestas companion Tony Magee from Las Vegas NV, Joe Maestas(Susan) from Las Vegas NV, Freddy Maestas from Las Vegas NV, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and numerous other relatives and friends.   Her sisters Levina Roybal , Margret Martinez (Levi) , Maggie Trujillo all from Santa Cruz NM and sister in-law Rosann Lujan. Our Beloved Mother and Grandmother will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.  She was the most loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She had such a big heart and loved her family very much. Corine traveled to New Mexico often to spend time with her sisters, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing Canasta with her grandchildren and forever making everyone laugh. Corine enjoyed spending most of her time with her daughter Adelia at the Beauty Salon in Las Vegas, Nevada. She always looked so amazing with her hair done and always beautifully dressed. We will miss the unconditional love she gave each one of us, and will forever miss her hugs and kisses.  Rest in peace, you will remain in our hearts forever.
Services will be on Monday April 25, 2016 at 1:00 pm located at the Palm Eastern Mortuary 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, Nevada 89121.
