Clorinda T. - age 89 - Cordova Martinez

Clorinda T. Martinez, 89, a resident of Cordova, passed away of natural causes, on Sunday, June 15, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adonaiso Martinez; parents, Julian and Rafaelita Torres; sons, Lito, Leonard, Roy and Andrew Martinez; grandson, Brian Romero; sisters, Elisea Sandoval, Barbarita Trujillo, Sarah Salazar, Celida Romero, Sylvia Cordova, brothers, Remijio Torres and Leopoldo Torres. Clorinda is survived by her daughter, Elsie Martinez and husband Jerry of El Rito, son, Amos Martinez of Cordova, daughters, Annabelle Dominguez and husband Filiberto of Truchas, Patrisia Brunello of Santa Fe, and Margie Martinez and husband Danny of Truchas, son Adonaiso Martinez Jr. and Tara Chacon of Cordova; close grandson, Mario Contrucci-Martinez and wife Katya of Rio Rancho; close nephews, William Trujillo of Cordova, Jake Sandoval and wife Mary of Española; close nieces, Vivian, Abenilde Torres of Cordova, Rosella Montoya of Cordova; and 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 1:00p.m. at the San Antonio Catholic Church in Cordova, with a burial to follow at the San Antonio Catholic Cemetery, with the following serving as pallbearers are her granddaughters Yvonne Baca, Rita Romero, Angela Dominguez-Wheat, Jennifer Martinez, Lita Brunello-Dominguez, Miquela Pompeo, Rylene, Abigail, Robin, Marie, and Brenda Martinez, honorary pallbearers named are all grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The family of Clorinda T. Martinez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. \r\n \r\n
