Clorence S. Leyba (El Chato), 57, a resident of Canjilon passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013. He was preceded in death by his dad, Jose Nonato Leyba; niece, Ignacita (Cita) Leyba. Clorence is survived by his son, Clorence S. Leyba, Jr. (Marsha); daughter, Julia Leyba all of Albuquerque; mother, Inez S. Leyba of Canjilon; brothers/sisters: Richard G. Leyba (Eva), Pat Leyba, Geraldine Garcia (Ernesto), Irene V. Martinez, Louise, Eloy and Mikey Leyba, Nena Archuleta (Luis), Louie Leyba, Patti Saiz and Clyde Leyba; grandchildren: Aubrey and Devin Leyba; numerous nephews, nieces and other loving relatives & friends. Rosary will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in Canjilon with the Mass of Christian burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Canjilon Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Richard Leyba Jr., Ernesto Garcia Jr., Patricio Leyba Jr., David Martinez, Andy Archuleta and Napoleon R. Garcia; honorary pallbearer, Clorence S. Leyba, Jr. The family of Clorence S. Leyba (El Chato) have entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
