Claude Vigil

CLAUDE V. VIGIL, 48, a resident of Espanola, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019.  Claude was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Vigil; nephew, Alfonso Archuleta; paternal grandparents, Max and Georgia Vigil, maternal grandparents, Andres and Orlinda Lopez.  Claude was an avid outdoors man, he enjoyed spending time with his family and hanging out with his nephews on his spare time.  He enjoyed driving his tractor and cruising around on the west side.  Claude will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  He is survived by his parents, Clyde and Virginia Vigil of Espanola; brother; Virgil Vigil and spouse Barbara of Espanola, sister-in-law, Marie Vigil of Cerrito de la Vaca; sisters, Tina Archuleta and spouse Donald of Chamita, Louise Trujillo of Hernandez, Vivian Hrivnak and spouse Lloyd of Cerrito De La Vaca; nieces, Chastity Vigil, Nichole Archuleta of Espanola; nephews, Ramsey, Clyde of Espanola; twins, Juan and Jose Trujillo of Hernandez; great-nephews, Logan, Clyde, Evan, and Luke Vigil; companion, Henrietta Archuleta of Espanola. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Espanola. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. also at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with a burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers are Eddie Vigil, Steve Salazar, Juan A. Trujillo, Jose P. Trujillo, Donald Archuleta, Crystal Lopez, Ramsey Vigil and Logan Vigil, honorary pallbearer is Clyde Vigil. The family of Claude V. Vigil has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
