Clarissa Clay Arellano, 40, a resident of Santa Clara Pueblo passed away after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, January 24, 2012. She was preceded in death by her ; great-grandmother, Rose Koteen; grandmother, Evelyn Archuleta; Nephew, Jayden Sonny. Clarissa is survived by her husband, Ralph Arellano, Jr. of Dixon; children: Adrian Abeyta, Adrianna Clay, Eric Clay and partner Denise Padilla; mother, Wilma A. Koteen Moy all of Santa Clara Pueblo; sister, Melissa Clay and partner Pernell Quintana of Española; brother, Melvin Clay of Seattle, WA; grandsons twins: Elijah and King Madrid of Santa Clara Pueblo; grandson, Izaya Clay; nieces/nephews: Michelle Martinez and partner Josh Dasheno, Anthony Clay all of Santa Clara Pueblo, Christopher Clay of Winebago, NE, Sky Rose Clay of Santa Clara Pueblo and Daniel Clay of Espanola; several cousins, aunts and uncles; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at Santa Clara Pueblo Catholic Church with burial to follow at Santa Clara Pueblo Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Adrian Abeyta, Eric Clay, Ralph Arellano Jr., Earl Monarco Jr. Daniel Clay, Anthony Clay, Brandon Castillo and Josh Dasheno.
