Clarence Medina

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Clarence Medina, 53 of Dixon NM, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022. Clarence was born on March 1, 1969, to Clarence and Josie Medina. Clarence Medina had a passion for art, was a well-known artist who displayed his artwork at various galleries, art shows and very own studio “Clarence Medina Studio/ Gallery”. Was a very friendly and outgoing individual who made friends everywhere he went. Clarence is going to be missed by his whole family and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his wife, Laverne Medina, father, Clarence Medina, paternal grandparents: Frank and Calicia Medina, maternal grandparents: Joe and Fedelina Valdez. Clarence is survived by his two children, Jason and Katie Medina, and mother Josie Medina. Siblings: Freddie and Michelle Medina. He is also survived by his In-laws: John and Carolyn Valdez, nieces and nephews who loved him wholeheartedly, Frankie Medina, Freddie Medina Jr., Amberlee Vigil, Travis Vigil, Jalyssa Knitter and Ella Medina. Great nieces and nephews: Ayana, Travis, and Amelia Vigil. God Mother/Aunt: Filomena Martinez, Godfather: Daniel Martinez, Aunts, Helen and husband Amado Martinez, Dolores and husband David Sherman and other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday September 6, 2022, at 7:00 pm.
