Cindy Gurule

Cindy Gurule born January 7th, 1957 entered Heaven's gates on January 9th, 2024. She is preceded in death by her son Jeremy, her parents Sabiniano and Esther Gurule, her brothers Ronnie, Emory and Kelly. She is survived by her beloved pet Panchito. Her children Crystal Terrazas, Ronnie Gurule (Shelly Gurule) and Edvarda Martinez. Her Grandchildren Kristi “Monkey” Trujillo (Stephen Trujillo), Sabrina Terrazas (Genesis Romero), Jose Jr. Terrazas (RaiAnne Thomas), Ronnie Jr. Gurule, Jisel Romero, Elizabeth Romero, Jesus Romero, and Brittany Padilla, (Carlos Padilla). Great Grandchildren Faith, Emma, Royal, Brielle, Emmarie, Cherish, Pakelika, Trinity, Larissa, Everardo, Emmiliana, Genavieve, Annaliya, Izack, Kaydance, and Madison, as well as her best friend and sister Shirley “Quack” (Miguel), siblings Lester (Loretta), Lloyd, Dale, Lora, and Nora.

Cindy was full of life and love and would lift up the spirits in any room she entered. Throughout her life she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and always found a way to make the best of her time. She had a creative soul and made many beloved keepsakes. Her generous heart was shared among everyone she met. Especially when it came to cooking and sharing her love for food. Never one to hold back Cindy will be remembered for her quick comebacks and humorous honesty. Her laugh was contagious and will be deeply missed. Cindy shared a life filled with stories and memories with her family and her legacy will live on. In her passing we find comfort in her shared words “God is holding my hand for hours, he said everything will be alright because I’m here with you.”

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Rock Christian in Espanola, NM, at 10:30 am.
