Christopher Algenon Maestas-Lueras, 12 days old, a resident of Española passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 21, 2012. We were blessed to have born our little Angel Christopher. The time was short but the days we shared will be a lasting memory. He will forever remain in our hearts and we will remember the joy he brought us for and eternity. Rest in peace our precious Angel. Christopher was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Quintana. He is survived by his parents, Christopher Lueras and Seleena Maestas of Española; maternal grandmother, Loreen Maestas; maternal grandfather, Noel Gutierrez; paternal grandmother, Isabell Vigil; paternal great-grandparents, Tom and Alice Lueras; maternal great great-grandmother, Mary Ann Gurule all of Española; paternal great great-grandmother, Geneva Lueras of El Paso, TX; maternal great-uncle, Gilbert Maestas of Española; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Services are pending at this time. Serving as pallbearers will be: Joshua Lueras, Shawndee Maestas, Oscar Franco and Michael Barela; honorary pallbearers: Ashley Lueras, Samantha Maestas, Novalee Barela.
