Christopher Chilton

Christopher “James” Chilton, 31, a resident of Espanola passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016. Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lugi Maestas, Julia Morrison and grandfather John Chilton, Lupe Gonzales, cousins, John Maestas, Darlene Maestas, and Angelica Orligoza. Christopher is survived by his parents, Margie and Lorenzo Morrison, father, Bryan Chilton, brothers, John Chilton and wife Sonya, Michael Chilton, sister, Macy Chilton, grandfather, Antonio “Tony” E. Maestas; nieces and nephews, Damian, Jonathan, Yazmin Chilton, uncle, Johnny and wife Angie and their children, David, Antonetta, and John Maestas, Stephanie and husband Kevin and their children, Vincent, Sienna, and Aliana, aunts, Becky Maestas and daughter Jonelle Maestas, Emily Ortigoza and children, Antony Maestas and daughter Naia, T.J. Ortigoza and daughter Kaylie, Miguel and Christina Ortigoza and their children, Angelica, Andrew, Angelo, Annalicia Ortigoza. A special aunt who was very influential  in his life, Angela Gallegos-Catmull and her children Selena and Chris Gallegos, whom he considerd like a brother and sister.  Special thanks to his loving Nino and Nina, Joe and Cathy Guillen, special uncle, Raul and son Nico Velasquez, good friend and cousin, Derrick Martinez and special friend Nicole Holmes. Christopher was a loving person with a big heart that will be missed dearly. We love you Chris.  Services for Christopher “James” Chilton will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 with a Memorial Service to begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home and Crematory.
