Christobal "Chris" Madrid

Christobal “Chris” Madrid, 63, a resident of Chama, formerly of Abiquiu, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. Christobal was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Agapito Madrid; brother, Edumenio Madrid; partner, Bonnie Jo Skinner; nephews, nieces, and great nephews. Mr. Madrid is survived by his siblings, Richard (Rose) Madrid, Corine (Simon) Sisneros, and Susie (Roman) Lopez; 9 nephews, 3 nieces, and numerous great nieces and nephews. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 10:00a.m. at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Abiquiu, Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00a.m. Burial will take place at the Old Abiquiu Catholic Cemetery. The family of Christobal “Chris” Madrid has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
