Cheryle Cata-Maestas

Cheryle Lynn Cata-Maestas 34, a resident of Ohkay Owingeh departed from this life on Saturday March 5, 2016. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents Albert and Bettie Cata; Samuel and Rosita Koteen; her dearest mother Hendrina Cata; her beloved sister, Shannon Cata; her cousin Joseph Marvin Tenorio. Cheryle was a very beautiful and outgoing person filled will laughter and smiles and was loved by many. She was a very creative person; she loved to draw, bake and had impeccable skills doing makeup and hair. Cheryle loved serving the Lord throughout her life and will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her father Mr. Albert R. Cata; brother Brian Cata; her children Danielle Maestas and Israel Fierro; Nephews Darrell Williams; Alvin Martinez; Niece Kara Lente and many other relatives.  Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Peace at De Vargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment will be held at the community cemetery in Dulce, NM on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. The family of Cheryle Lynn Cata-Maestas has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory.
