Charles Louis Radosevich, 84, a resident of Santo Niño, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016, following a brief illness. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time he went on to be with our Lord. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Theresa B. Radosevich; his parents Stanko and Antonia Radosevich; brothers Frank and J. David Radosevich; and sisters Thelma and Francis Radosevich.
Charles was born on September 5, 1931, in Springer, NM. He spent his childhood on a farm in Miami, NM. Following graduation from St. Patrick’s High School in Raton, NM, Charles joined the United States Marine Corps, where he earned the rank of Sergeant and served in Korea during the Korean War.
Following his service in the USMC, Charles attended New Mexico Highlands University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education. During his time at NMHU, Charles met his wife Theresa; they were happily married for 54 years prior to his wife’s death. Following graduation from NMHU, Charles taught shop in Chama, NM, before he began his career as a technician at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Charles is survived by his two sons, Charles Louis Radosevich, Jr. and wife Theresa of La Mesilla, and Eric Radosevich and wife Patricia of Santa Cruz; granddaughters Heather Radosevich and Michelle Radosevich of Albuquerque, and Briana Radosevich and Kristina Radosevich of Las Cruces; brother Bob Radosevich of Castro Valley, CA; sister-in-law Griselda A. Radosevich of Albuquerque; and numerous nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces.
A rosary will be recited on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Memorial mass will be celebrated immediately after on Saturday morning. Burial will be held on Monday, September 5, 2016 at 11:15 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
