Celsa Age - 91 Los Luceros Gallegos

CELSA GALLEGOS, 91, a resident of Los Luceros, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clemente Gallegos; parents, Manuel and Leonor Eylicio; step-father, Eduardo Gallegos; brothers, Jose de la Luz Eylicio and Leo Gallegos; daughter, Mary Ann Quintana; grandsons, Richard Martin Maes, Ciriaco Maes Jr. and Anthony Maes. She loved to do many different types of arts and crafts. She loved to dance and was full of energy. She lived life to the fullest and loved her family dearly, above all she was dedicated to her faith in God. She will be missed. Mrs. Gallegos is survived by her grandchildren, Mary Lou Maes, Leonor Luna and husband Felipe of Mountainair, Maria Maes of Albuquerque, Silvia Herrera and husband Epimenio of Los Luceros, Toby Maes and wife Sandra and Richard Maes all of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Anna, Esperanza, Dawn, Michael, Christina and husband Daniel, Veronica, James, Matthew, Rebecca and Katherine; great-great-grandchildren, Jadrian, Nayleah, Callie, Wesley, Julien and soon to be here, Brayden and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Burial to follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Albuquerque with the following serving as pallbearers: Toby Maes, Michael Garley, Richard Maes, James Naranjo, Mathew Naranjo and Epi Herrera. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be, Felipe Luna. The family of Celsa Gallegos has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. 505-747-7477
