Celeste D. -age 40- Arroyo Seco Maestas-Sanchez

Celeste D. Maestas-Sanchez, 40, a resident of Arroyo Seco, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elena Erlinda Maestas; maternal grandparents, Celestino and Seniada Vigil; paternal grandparents, Jose Waldo and Carlotta Maestas; father-in-law, Jerome Sanchez and brother-in-law, Jerome “Bubbles” Sanchez. Celeste is survived by her husband of 21 years, Charles Sanchez; daughter, Desiree and son, Charles (CJ) Sanchez; father, Dennis Maestas; sister, Karen Maestas and niece, Stephanie Maestas all of Arroyo Seco; mother-in-law Mabel Sanchez; sister-in-law, Linda Sanchez and two nieces, Jenna and Reyna Sanchez all of Española; plus many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Faith Church in Española, with a reception to follow at the Knight of Columbus. Cremation has taken place burial will be at a later date. The family of Celeste D. Maestas-Sanchez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n \r\n
