Cecilia - Age 50 - Los Ojos Martinez

CECILIA P. MARTINEZ, 50, a resident of Los Ojos, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012. She was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Castillo; daughter, Abelina Martinez; brother-in-law, Robin Martinez and father-in-law, Alfonso Martinez. Cecilia was a very loving mother of 7 children; grandmother of 8 and supportive wife of 32 years. She loved to spend time with family and friends. She loved listening to oldies music, going fishing and spending time outside growing plants in her garden; as well as dance and joke around. She is loved by many and will be missed by all. She had a smile that would brighten the darkest room and a personality to match. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her husband, Fred A. Martinez of Los Ojos; children, Sandra L. Trujillo, Robin A. Martinez both of Española, Cecilia “Baby” Martinez of Los Ojos, Fred Martinez, Jr. of Chama, Steven Martinez of Los Ojos and Samuel Martinez of Española; grandchildren, Cameron, Mark, Rudolph and Julian Trujillo, Jr., Ambrosia Martinez, Ethan Martinez, Carlos Lujan all of Los Ojos, Martina Lujan of Los Ojos; brothers, Leroy Castillo, Lawrence Aragon and Johnny Sanchez all of Albuquerque; sisters, Priscilla Sanchez and Tammy Cross and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. also at the San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos with burial to follow at Ensenada Cemetery. The family of Cecilia P. Martinez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
