CAROLE JUNE MONTOYA, 49, a resident of Los Alamos, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 30, 2016. Carole was preceded in death by her father, David Francis Washburn. Carole was a Data Specialist for Los Alamos Public Schools, and she was a lot owner for the Los Alamos Stables Association. Carole is survived by her daughter, Julia E. Montoya; husband, Gregory A. Montoya both of Los Alamos; mother, Elizabeth Ann Washburn of Brementon, WA; brother, Patrick Washburn of Duvall, WA; sister-in-law, Kimberly Washburn of Duvall, WA; niece, Ellen Wiegman of Killeen, TX; dear friend, Helen Jurkowski of Kentlands, MD, and so many more dear friends and family that enriched her life with their presence. Private services will be held.
