CAROL GUILLERMA BLEA, a resident of Española, born on November 24, 1949 went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 17, 2015. Carol passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving wife and mother. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Maguin Romero, Sr., mothers-in-law, Virginia Blea and Sarah Vigil; fathers-in-law, Zebedeo Blea and Delfino Vigil; sister, Viola Miera, brothers-in-law, Delfino Vigil, Joseph Blea, Francis Blea, and Samuel Serrano; nieces, Diana Trujillo, Francine Blea, Sara Blea; nephews, Richard and Danny Miera and Matthew Blea. Mrs. Blea is survived by her husband of 46 years, Phillip J. Blea; children, Phillip, Jr. and wife Carol, Carl and husband Marc and Rachel and companion Angela; grandchildren, Taylor and Bella Blea; mother, Teresa Romero; sisters, Ferminia Serrano, Theresa Garcia and husband Zeke, Andrea Lovato and husband Pat, Anita Salazar and husband Ray, Dorothy Martinez and husband Matthew; brothers, Maguin Romero and wife Lena, Amadeo Romero and Luis Padilla and wife Elaine; sisters-in-law, Wanda Blea, Vangie Vigil, Carol Manzanares, Henrietta and husband Adolf, MaryAnn and Joe V. Martinez, Patsy Evans, Helen Vigil, Yolanda Roybal and Joseph Blea and companion Beverly, many nieces, nephews and God-children and other relatives. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada, with a burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers, Taylor Blea, Joseph Blea, Steven Gallegos, Amadeo Willison, Michael Gallegos, and Larry Martinez. Honorary pallbearers named, Horace Esquibel and Miracle Martinez. The family of Carol Guillerma Blea has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
