Carmela Juarez Quintana, 43, a resident of Santa Fe formally of Espanola went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2011. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Lobato; maternal grandparents: Eliazar and Rosa Valdez; paternal grandparents: Elias and Corrine Miera. Carmela is survived by her husband, Joseph Quintana of Santa Fe; mother, Elizabeth Lobato and step-dad Joseph Guiterrez of Santa Fe; mother-in-law, Rose Quintana of Santa Fe; children: Andrew Chavez and companion Jessica, Sophia Chavez and companion Ricardo, Sonya Lobato and Leann Juarez and companion Johnny all of Santa Fe; step-children: Victoria Quintana and husband Matt, Max Quintana Sr., Tony Quintana, Geniva Juarez, Aaron Tenorio, Enrique Juarez and Yazmine Juarez; grandchildren: Jennesy Chavez, Marcos Gonzales, Andrew Chavez Jr., Isaac Chavez, unborn grandchild, Max Quintana Jr., Phillip Quintana, Jeremy Rivera, and Alyssa Lopez; cousin who was raised like a sister, Valerie Valdez of Las Cruces; sister, Theresa Rodriguez and husband Gerardo of Santa Fe; nieces, Nicole Oliveros, Samantha Rodriguez; nephew, Eric Gonzales; step-sisters: Melissa Guiterrez and husband Jaime and Jessica Anaya and husband Manuel; step-brothers: Jose Guiterrez and Chris Guiterrez and wife Deanza; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles & other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at 7th Day Adventist Church located at 130 Rabbit Road in Santa Fe with at Devotional to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at 7th Day Adventist Church in Tres Piedras with burial to follow at Tres Piedras Community Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Roman Sanchez, Doreen McKinnon, Eric Gonzales, Jose Guiterrez, Melissa Guiterrez, Anthony Garcia; honorary pallbearers: Mattie Larranaga, Jacob Valdez, Andrea Trujillo, Valerie Valdez, Rose Hernandez.
