Carlos Steven "Los" - age 27 - Chim Vigil

Carlos Steven “Los” Vigil, 27, a resident of Chimayo, was born April 14, 1987, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 13, 2014. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Sophia Trujillo. Carlos enjoyed riding horseback to the Truchas Peaks. Also, to Panchuela to mend fences and to enjoy the outdoors. He had a passion for writing music. Carlos is survived by his parents, Pete and Theresa Vigil; brother, Robert Isaiah Vigil, sister, Monica Rae Valerio and husband Marty; nieces and nephews, Aliciana, April, Randy Marcus and Brooke Valerio; maternal grandparents, Robert and Adela Garcia, paternal grandparents, Carlos and Lydia Vigil; uncles and aunts, Juan and wife Suzette Garcia, Jimmy and wife Roberta Catanach, James and wife Debbie Torrez, Ben and wife Geraldine Garcia, Carlos and wife Sharon Ramirez and Sandra Vigil; cousins, Michael Graham and family, Alyssa Baca and family, Aileen Martinez and family, James and Adriana Catanach, Carmelina Gregorio, and Cristobal Garcia, Sophia and Cristian Ramirez and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Public visitation will begin on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a burial to follow at the Cundiyo Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers Robert I. Vigil, Marty Valerio, Juan Garcia, Michael Graham, Aaron Trujillo, and Luis Rael, honorary pallbearers Aliciana, Randy, and Marcus Valerio.
